Rockefeller Foundation Partnership
The Rockefeller Foundation advances new frontiers of science, data and innovation to solve global challenges related to health, food, power and economic mobility. GBPI is proud to partner with the foundation to support proven economic policies like a state Earned Income Tax Credit, also known as the Georgia Work Credit. More than 700,000 Georgian families, including over 1 million children, stand to gain from this targeted tax cut.
New Partner to Join Georgia Work Credit
We are happy announce the Georgia NAACP has joined the Georgia Work Credit coalition. The Georgia NAACP was founded in 1909; the NAACP is the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. “The greatest asset that we have as a state are the hard-working Georgians that make up our families, our communities. We support any and every opportunity to empower our neighbors to make Georgia a better place to call home,” said Rev. James Woodall, State President, Georgia NAACP.
